Looks like demand for The Civil Wars hasn’t settled down since the popular duo (Joy Williams and John Paul White) took a maternity break following the birth of Williams’ and husband Nate Yetton’s son a little more than a month ago.
Tickets for the pair’s first post-maternity show at White’s alma mater University of Northern Alabama on Oct. 1 sold out in less than 12 hours. Having gone on sale Monday at midnight, the university confirmed tickets had sold out early the same day.
The Civil Wars, who have confirmed they are already working on the followup to their debut album, Barton Hollow, will continue touring after the UNA show.
