Not only has the Justin Vernon-fronted Bon Iver overtaken the indie music landscape in recent years, but now the act is partnering with music networking site Indaba to give fans the chance to expand on the band’s already-complex music. Here’s how it works: Go to this page to download the various stems for every song on Bon Iver’s self-titled album. (At the very least, this is a golden opportunity to hear Justin Vernon’s isolated vocal tracks.) Join the music-networking site Indaba and REMIX as many of the songs as you like before Aug. 29. Next month, users will get to vote on the various remixes, and winners will get $1,000 per song as well as having their finished work featured on a Spotify remix album.
