Ellie Goulding has announced the highly-anticipated release of her follow-up to her 2010 debut album, Lights. Her new project, Halcyon, will be available on Oct. 9.
The album is written entirely by Goulding, who co-produced the record with Jim Elliott (Kylie Minogue, Ladyhawke). The lead single will be titled “Anything Could Happen” and will be released digitally on Aug. 21 (with a video premiere on Aug. 13).
“Lights,” the lead single and title track from Goulding’s debut album, has sold 2.5 million copies in the U.S. alone.
